Service With Pride, Commitment, and Compassion

Carson City is served by three full-time fire stations and one seasonal fire station.  Each full-time station operates within a specific geographic fire district.  Station 1, built in 1995, serves the central part of the city.   Stations 2 and 3 were built in 1974 and provide service to the northern and southern parts of the city, respectively. 

Station 51

Fire Station 51, 777 South Stewart Street, Carson City, NevadaStation 51, the main fire station, houses the Fire Click for a larger photo and map.Department administrative offices and an engine company which responds to emergencies in the central city.  Apparatus located at Station 1 include all command and administrative vehicles, one first-out Type I structure engine, one Type I reserve structure engine, one aerial ladder truck, one technical rescue unit, one Type III wildland brush engine, one active and two reserve ambulances.  Station 51 is located at 777 South Stewart Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701.

Station 52

Fire Station 52, 2400 College Parkway, Carson City, NevadaStation 52 covers the northern and north-easternClick for a larger photo and map. portions of the city.  This station houses an engine company which responds to emergencies in its assigned area.  Apparatus located at Station 2 include one first-out Type I structure engine, one Type I reserve structure engine, one Type III wildland brush engine, one hazardous material response unit, one utility truck with trailers, and one active ambulance.  Station 2 is located at 2400 East College Parkway, Carson City, Nevada 89706.

Station 53

Fire Station 53, 4649 Snyder Avenue, Carson City, NevadaStation 53 covers the southern portion of the city Click for a larger photo and map.and Highway 50 West to Spooner Summit.  This station houses an engine company which responds to emergencies in its assigned area.  Apparatus located at Station 3 include one first-out Type I structure engine, one Type I reserve structure engine, one Type III wildland brush engine, and one reserve ambulance.  Station 53 is located at 4649 Snyder Avenue, Carson City, Nevada 89701.

Training Grounds

Training Grounds, 2400 College Parkway, Carson City, NevadaThe training grounds contain a classroom and training towers to simulate a variety of rescue and firefighting scenarios.  There are props to simulate gas leaks, trench collapse, leaking hazarous materials, and victim extrications.  The training grounds are located at 2400 College Parkway, Carson City, Nevada 89706.
